Date: June 22, 1964  (Luke and Doris’s anniversary)

Place: Florence

 

Beautiful – overwhelming, marble statues – glorious – tombs of Medici, Duomo Cathedral, magnificent door by Ghiberti.

Of all things!  We met Dan & Lynn Durland in shop on the Ponte Vecchio.  

Took pictures.

Ordered an anniversary cake for Doris & Luke.
