A memory from PJ:

When we were kids, Barry used to read to us.

Sherlock Holmes, Damon Runyon and O. Henry were his favorites.

(I thought “Ransom of Red Chief” was hysterical.)

He also made-up original bedtime stories – Westerns - with good guys who had funny names and bad guys named Lefty and Righty.
