Max Haber & Family

The Haber family lived in one of the apartments in the building and the rest would be rented to tenants.

Julia, a strong, hard-working woman acted as superintendent, keeping the building clean, collecting the rent and dealing with the tenants. 

I don’t think they ever owned more than one building at a time.
