Doris & Moe Black

Doris Blume Black & Murray Black

A story from Neilan:

Uncle Moe experienced the life that many young boys would love to emulate.

He left home at the age of 12 and spent many years traveling the world.  He mined gold in South Africa, diamonds in South America, and ran carnivals in the U.S.

As a young man in Mexico, he got caught up in the Mexican War of Pancho Villa.  As he told me, they stuck a gun in his hand, but he never fired it - as he was afraid that he would shoot himself.
