A story from PJ:

When Sue and Barry were married, Barry told her that he had opened charge accounts for her at all the department stores in Manhattan.

One day she went shopping at Lord & Taylor's and when it was time to pay she realized that she did not have her charge card with her.  So she gave them her name and phone number and left with her purchase.

The next day the phone rang.  The person on the other end said: "Hi Mrs. Lehrer.  It doesn't appear that you actually have an account with Lord & Taylor's.  Would you like to open one?"
