Dr. Morris Gleich was a graduate of City College and the New York University Medical School. 

He served as a major in the Army Medical Corps in World War I.

Prior to his retirement in 1952, he was Director of Pediatrics at Harlem and Lutheran Hospitals. He was also a president of the Bronx Pediatrics Association.
