A story from Peter…

Itzik insisted that people always knew about surprise parties.  So the family decided to see if they could pull one off for Louise and Itzik’s 25^th anniversary.

Ann's role was to set up the apartment, ours was to keep Louise and Itzik occupied until she was ready.

Mary came over to help, but when Ann called to say she was ready, instead of answering the phone herself, she shouted at Louise of all people to do it.  Perhaps she was so engaged on Perry Mason, which we were watching at the time, that she forgot who was calling and why.

But luckily they did not catch on, and when they arrived home to shouts of "Surprise" - Itzik had to admit that he was.
