A story from Peter:
The Stern and Mintzes families took a trip together to Montour Falls. To walk over to the falls, you needed to cross an iron lattice bridge on foot. When Louise and Doris began to cross the bridge, they realized they could see through it and their acrophobia kicked in. They opted to get on a narrow walk at the side of the bridge instead of staying in the main section.
All was going well until they encountered a tree with low branches blocking their way. Given the choice to walk on the see-through bridge or crawl under the tree on their bellies, they chose the latter.
