A story from PJ:

When I was in college, Barry told me that if i did not get married right after graduation, instead of paying for my wedding he would furnish my first apartment.  Of course he left up to Sue to fulfill his promise. 

Perhaps that's why she picked up antiquing and furniture refinishing as hobbies shortly thereafter; or it could have been This Old House.

Either way we benefited from her efforts.  This is the dining room table she sourced, repaired and refinished for us.  She was pleased that we used it for decades.
